Song Of The Day!

Hey everyone! Just going to try to make this one quick as possible so that I can get this over with and the fact that I'm typing this when it's close to midnight soon.
So yeah, I'm obviously under a certain amount of time.
Anyways, today's song is something that has been stuck in my head for the past three months. It's pretty, and seems best on a rainy day. Today's Song Of The Day is:
The Ronettes: Walking In The Rain
I'm pretty sure if you heard Oldies, you've come across The Ronettes. Consisting of (at the time) Veronica "Ronnie" Bennett, her sister Estelle & their cousin Nedra Talley, they were one of the major leading girl groups of the early 60's, but they were different from some of the other girl groups at the time. Basically because the producer Phil Spector created something that was ingenious at the time. Even though he was a psychopathic killer and as worse as Ike Turner, this guy created "The Wall Of Sound", which incorporated a lot of session musicians playing the same instruments at the same time so that every instrument is heard clearly, including special guest vocalists to backup the singers, thus creating a "Wall Of Sound" instead of having the musicians inside separate booths and then mixing it to capture their sound. One of his earliest uses of this technique was on The Ronettes most famous (and only) album "Presenting The Fabulous Ronettes Featuring Veronica". Let's look at the song itself.
Nice hairdo by the way, Phil.....
Just as if the lightning from the song intro somehow hit Phil Spector's hair, it provided an excellent setting of the song and the fact that nobody has really done this before. It even earned the guy who captured the sound of thunder and lightning for the song a Grammy Award. As we hear the setting tone in, we hear the trio slowly fading in along with The Blossoms & Cher singing along. Along with several piano, bass & guitar players (They only need one drummer since it's loud enough), it sets a dreamy landscape in such gloomy weather along with a tambourine and with what I'm guessing a glockenspiel. It's such a positive, romantic solution to what everyone considers what a bad day looks like. (I in fact like rain a lot, not because I'm gloomy, but because it feels refreshing.) This is one of their most memorable songs alongside "Be My Baby", and even though I hate you Phil for your actions, I have to thank you for creating such wonderful music.
Makes me wanna make out with someone under a heavy shower of nature's glory.
So yeah check out this song, I'm sure it'll make your day somehow. :)
Enjoy!!!
